I've got another interview with 'the world expert in gas analysis and the leading provider of reliable, accurate and stable gas measurement solutions to industries across the globe' this Thursday at 10am. Apparently, I'll be meeting with the Inside Sales manager, the Customer Relations manager, and someone from the English head office who will fly in especially. It all sounds really serious all of a sudden, and I've only got a day to prepare for this. Scary!

I wonder if I can work in some quotes from

though I guess it won't do to liken these people's mothers to hamsters.

Day 25 - A movie you plan on watching (old or new)
Day 26 - Freakishly weird movie ending
Day 27 - Best villain
Day 28 - Most overhyped movie
Day 29 - Movie you have watched more than ten times
Day 30 - Saddest death scene
Day 31 - Scene that made you stand up and cheer

Well, admitting you like Python (and possibly referring accurately), might get you in good graces with the person from British head office. Anyway, good luck!

Is this the job you described to DB and I? The evening hours one?

No, that one fell through; this is one I was interviewed for by a recruitment agency last week, and that offers daytime working hours ;-)

12 More hours to go...and my mind is a blank. I swear I can't think why I would be the best person for the job (apart from the fact that I'd be brilliant at it, of course).

Is this natural gas, LPG, gas chromatography or some other form of gas? Or do you mean petrol? (though I'd be surprised if you did, because your English is definitely more British than US, and I mean that as a compliment)

Good luck no matter what it is! Though you are stellar, so you should be great. :)

Oh I thought of another gas: compressed gas. Whee!

I'm referring to such substances as benzene, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon tetrachloride, ethylene, hydrogen chloride, chlorine, nitric oxide, nitrous oxide, oxygen, phosgene, sulphur dioxide, argon, carbonyl sulphide and many many more...this company manufactures measuring equipment to detect all these kinds of gasses and ensure plant and production safety. And now they need someone to bring their customer services into the 21st century, which is where I come in. I just hope they won't hold it against me that I don't know the first thing about these chemicals, or the industries in which they can be detected and measured.
