Today's silver lining was brought to you by US Mail and LJ-friends!

Tis the season to be jolly...and jolly, therefore, I'll be!

I've had enough of feeling down and moping around for the last couple of weeks, so I'm going to ignore all that and concentrate on the things that brighten my day and make me happy, even if it's just for a fleeting moment. Today, that thing wasn't difficult to find: the post brought me not one, but two pairs of earrings that desdemonaspace has crafted for me; one of cushion-shaped carnelians and the other made with peach aventurine, and they're both exquisite. desdemonaspace, thank you so much for this wonderful gift! I'll think of you every time I wear them.

I've decided I'm going to spend Xmas with my sister and the kids; and since today is my day off and the shops hopefully not too busy yet, I'm going to go out in a minute to get some groceries in to help with the festivities -- but not before I've wished bogwitch, calove and hesadevil lots of inspiration and ease of writing with their super secret joint Xmas fic-project: good luck girls, your deadline is looming!

And I'll also pimp wisteria_'s idea of spreading the love, seeing as how I'm starting to get into the holiday spirit after all: Pimp everyone else!
