Back in the fold

The thing with Buddhists is: nothing ever surprises them. When I turned up before class this morning, and helped get the room ready, Adithya never expressed any curiosity as to where I had been or what I thought I was doing, showing my face again after 7 or 8 months.

So now I'm back in the fold again, and as far as Adithya's concerned, I can restart teacher training as well...but it's really up to Ganga, the head of the school, and the one who had first recognized my potential. I don't really expect there to be a problem, though; she told me when I left, that I would always be welcomed back if circumstances would allow it.

Apart from the official notification that my aunt has died, the postie also brought a copy of The Seahorses' Do It Yourself that bogwitch burned for me; I'm listening to it now. It's no Stone Roses, but it's not bad -- John Squires's guitar is very distinctive. Thanks, Boggy!

Lastly, have a look at the icon hesadevil made for me. Now quite why a picture of shoes makes her think of me is a mystery, but I'm sure I'll figure it out one of these days ::casts loving glances at recently acquired footwear::

I'm not complaining! It was a very nice to find it in my letterbox when I got back, after having had to leave home at the crack of dawn, and on my day off, to go to yoga class.
