Down the rabbit hole

I almost forgot to feed the giraffes this morning. Luckily, the bravest of them dared to swim right up to me as soon as I left the igloo, and by pointing his hoof at his mouth, turning in the water and rubbing his tummy, reminded me of my dereliction of duty; but it was a close call. I will have to do better tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the mummy of Wahibre Setepenre is still awaiting pick up in my shed. I want it moved, so that I can grow cabbages in its spot.

And ever have I longed to sit and cast upon the fire, sun and moon and star alike to dance upon that pyre.

Impossible, when even 10 lords a-leapin' couldn't conquer the blue skies at the other end of summer.

It now has passed and all is still. But will it come again? Dark shadows move outside the world as we speak softly in the past.

In the vast recesses of my mind, I wander aimlessly from synapse to stalagtite, letting my hands do the talking for both of us.

Stalwardly he drank his tea, stealthily eying the competition. She stood on tiptoes and reached out across the bronze-hued ocean, answering the blood red cockle-shell in shrill diatribe.

How could he treat a poor maiden so?

The geyser spewed forth and the flowers rained down, punching great holes into the earth where they fell.
