Couch potato

There was nothing on the TV as usual...the 20th anniversary episode of EastEnders was as dull as dishwater, even though it got rid of not one, but two would-be gangsters. One got pushed into oncoming traffic on the motorway, and the other got his head bashed in with a door stop. And I just sat there watching it, not even trying to stifle my yawns.

I was mildly interested though, in the news that from the first week of March, a Dutch channel is going to broadcast Lost, which judging from the trailer seems to be about a plane crash, and Desperate Housewives, of which I've heard my flist talk so much in recent weeks. I don't know, it might be good -- I am so in need of a good show to watch now that there's no more AtS.

Meanwhile, some of my NYC acquaintances should be about getting ready for the CoRo gig tonight. Oh, how I wish I were there with them right now!

Hmmm....Lost is nice (there's Sawyer, for instance. the SPike of Lost) , but I stopped watching Desperate Housewives after the third or fourth ep, although I enjoyed it a lot at first. The show I really like is Carnivale. It's been shown on Belgian TV (Kanvas), and is now in its second series. Beautifully shot, fascinating story...

There's a Spike-clone on Lost? This, I've got to see...
