I think I may have found a new 'ship: Luke and Lorelai. What is that, Loreluke? Lukelai? Whatever it is, they're meant for each other. Wonder how long it'll take them to see that...

(Gilmore Girls. It's been on the telly for ages. I've only now started watching it a little. It's confusing: there are episodes where Rory is in college, and on other days, she's in school and freaking out because her boyfriend told her he loved her).

I think I like Sayid, in addition to Jack and Kate. But I wish I could explain how that polar bear got to be on a tropical island. Three days after the accident -- shouldn't they have started burying the dead?

(Lost. We're on the third episode, and so far, it's been both intriguing (weird things happening on the island) and boring (watching people sit around on a beach all day).

Desperate Housewives again on Tuesday. I mustn't forget.

I havee news, I have news. Get over to pokerkitten's LJ. She's got a ticket for Islington for you. She'll send it on down to me, which will make the sending of money easier for her. You can settle up with me on the day. I'm going in to London to meet the CDS crowd that day and staying overnight to go to the concert at St James the following evening.

And of course you knew all that. But not the news about the ticket. OK shutting up now.

The best part - she only wants £14 for it.

You beauty!

That's alright, I can find my own bench or cardboard box in the park around the corner...;-)

Seriously, what hotel are you staying at? (So I'll know which one to avoid)

Get a room there.

Maybe I will. Maybe I'll book a double, bring James back with me. Won't you and Cass be jealous at breakfast the next day ;-)!

They've gone up considerably since I booked last weekend. C and I got a twin room for £45 for the two of us. I'd get on to the CDS Live at Five thread and advertise for a roomie. You'd get a twin for £30 each while there are still rooms to be had. They're filling up by the looks of things.

I booked through https://www.travelodge.co.uk
and on checking with them again, there are no cheap rooms left at the Islington lodge. There are still rooms at £50 at the Kings Cross one which is walking distance.

Actually, there don't appear to be any rooms left available at all that night. It's alright -- I'll find somewhere else.

As I said before, I don't find CDS easy to navigate. It may just be me, but I don't see any thread called Live in Five.
