Sulk world record?

Leila's still under the sofa. She hasn't moved from that spot (or stopped snarling) for fifteen and a half hours.

Wow, that is impressive. I hope Manasse feels better.

Manasse is fine -- he seems to have totally forgotten that I was the one that took him to the vet's in the first place. Blanked it out, most likely. The wound doesn't seem to bother him; but every time I see his rear end, I am gripped by a powerful regret -- he used to have such beautiful balls, now there's nothing there.

Clio's keeping her distance, but she's not been hostile; but Leila...Leila worries me. It's just so unlike her: when I first brought Manasse home a year ago, Clio reacted much as she is now, but Leila took him under her wing and the two of them, Leila and Manasse, up until yesterday morning have been like mother and son. I don't understand what's changed -- it's not like he even smells of Animal Hospital anymore.

Aww. Poor man tom was-tom? What do you call a snipped cat, btw?

Maybe it's more than just the hospital smell. I'm not exactly a fount of knowledge when it comes to cats, but I think he might be producing less testosterone (or equivalent) and that the others can smell it.

Hey, I didn't think of that. Definitely a possibility. Oh well, they're just going to have to get over themselves, and used to it. And they'd better be quick about it, too, because I'm leaving on Monday.

He was her baby boy and now there is something different about him.

That's dedication!

You've got to admire her for it -- she can sulk like nobody's business! ;-)

One of my mum's cats once spent a week inside a mattress.

Inside a mattress? That's really impressive!

We went on holiday and Patches went to say with a lady from the Cats Protection League. She took pity on her and made her comfy in her spare bedroom. Patches made a hole in the bed and didn't leave the mattress for the whole week.

Resourceful kitten! Bet the lady from the Cats Protection League wasn't too pleased, though...

Not especially, but it was funny though.
