Kitty power struggle going on

Saw Manasse yesterday, and was pleased to find that my boy misses me, and loves me still. Mum still doesn't like him, so it doesn't seem likely that I can leave him with her for longer than the two weeks we agreed.

Leila, meanwhile, has taken a full three days to come out of hiding -- and now finds she may have left it too late. Clio, my middle cat, seems to have decided it's time to challenge her position as head cat of the household, and Leila apparently has no idea how to deal with her sister's rebellion. She gets the most goofy, quizzical expression on her face every time she gets attacked. But as far as I'm concerned, she's on her own. She's only got herself to blame, after all.

Awww glad he loves you still :)

But oh dear about the others, well am sure they will sort themselves out into a new, or back to the old, hierarchy!

I'm sure they will -- only I'm really scared that when Manasse comes back next week, he's going to upset the balance of power again. And what I'm really worried about is that Leila will go back to scaredycat behaviour...and that'll leave me with no other option than to put one of my moggies up for adoption.

Leila looks like my Lucy! (black cats tend to do that don't they!)

if it came to adoption would your mum have her?

Nope. She likes Leila, thinks she's sweet, but likes the freedom of not having any pets any longer. Also, she thinks that at 71, she's too old to be taking on another young animal.

You know, I think she may just manage it, too. She's a tenacious little thing...quite sneaky and cunning, too.
