Borrowed from whimsicalnotion:

Here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...who wears mismatched socks." I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

Urm. I had about four hours' sleep due to mugginess. I haven't done the washing-up for a week because it'll only need doing again. I read a rabidly anti-Spike post by accident the other day and it still drove me wild, even though I've "left" the active fandom. Manchester - a good town to live in. I may try sleeping in the bathroom tonight, as it faces north and is always a bit cold.

Funny that I should read this right after I've done my own washing-up after I'd let it accumulate for a week, and for the same reason. But then, I pride myself on not being too house-proud, anyway.

Manchester - a good town to live in.

I'll take your word for it. I've only visited once, and most of the time I was there was spent in the A&E ward of Manchester Royal Infirmary. :(

Can't say I've ever tried sleeping with socks on, but i do know I can't sleep during the day...well, not unless I want to wake up with a blinding headache and a queasy stomach.

I love going barefoot and will avoid wearing shoes whenever possible.

The first thing I do when I get home, is kick off my shoes, much as I love them -- I prefer going barefoot in the home for some reason...

Huh. Okay, so because my dad worked for a pipeline company we moved a lot. This move back to Nebraska was number 16 for me. And I'm 25. It's interesting math. :)

I think I would have liked to have moved around a bit more, too. My Dad dragged us all over Europe when we were little (Denmark, Luxemburg, Spain), but we never stayed anywhere for long and we always came back to The Netherlands and The Hague.

When I was a kid, I had a pony. Her name was Lady and she was an onry pain in the ass!

Most of the walls in my house are covered in posters or framed pictures of gorgeous men. All except my kitchen wall, which besides a couple of posters of Orlando Bloom is covered in original poetry.

Intereseting...What happens when you run out of wall space; will you run out of gorgeous men, too?

Hmmm...I'm currently suffering from the absolute WORST allergies ever!

That, and I own more shoes that any one person should, and yet I hate wearing shoes! Go figure. I go everywhere barefoot, if I can get away with it.

I also have more movies than most video rental stores (like over 1000). I'm definitely a collector.

I love old southern (US) cities by the water and hate living away from the ocean. (And I'm a bit homesick at the moment after spending the weekend at my husband's family reunion.)

I was a natural blond but dye my hair red because I like it better. It is not true that blonds have more fun.

Frank Sinatra is one of my favorite singers.

I haven't yet been to any southern US city, but I can empathise on the missing of the ocean : when I lived in Leicester for a bit, it took me a week or two to realise that I actually missed the screeching of the gulls that I'm so used to, I hardly hear it anymore...until it's not there at all. Funny how that works...

Frank Sinatra is one of my favorite singers.

Who doesn't love Ol' Blue Eyes, eh?
