Old dog, new tricks

28 Months I've had this LJ. 28 Months of not having a f*cking clue

  • how to do coloured font,
  • how to do really small or really really big font,
  • how to underline,
  • or even how to do bullet points

...and all the while, it was so easy! Thank you tori_x , for letting me in on the secret!

No no, this was LJ -- a 'so that's what Rich Text means!'-moment.

I'm still clueless but semagic does all the work. Of course coloured text doesn't show up on journal's that colour.

I installed Semagic about a month ago, tested it once, was pleased to see that it worked...and then sort of forgot all about it.

Of course coloured text doesn't show up on journal's that colour.

Now she tells me! ;-)
Pity you can't use it in comments, either...or can you?

Let me see...

Aha! So you can from Semagic at least. But, looking at the programme -- where's the option to reply to a comment?

I think you're supposed to be able to do that, but I never worked out how. What I do is get semagic to do the html and then paste it into the comment box.

It's not as user friendly as it seems at first, is it? I suppose that's why I never got around to using it...
