Dec. 14th, 2005

I've just finished watching The Corpse Bride, and it was very Tim Burtonesque. Funny how the world of the living is all drab and dreary while the underworld is full of colour -- and funny how Victor, when he finds himself in the first should want to go back to the latter in such a hurry. My nephew is going to be so annoyed when he hears I've seen it already...better not tell him, I suppose.

Our Christmas hamper this year contained a stainless steel fondue set, a recipe book, a bottle of olive oil and one of wine, 6 green mugs, a green cool bag (very uncool if you ask me), an egg timer, a pack of paper napkins and not 1 but 3 chunky green and brown candles...I wonder who put it together, and why. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find a use for some of these items, and maybe I can flog the rest on eBay.

My daughter and her friends saw The Corpse Bride a couple of weeks ago - they had intended to see the new Wallace and Grommit, but it was full. They said they were glad W&G was full because The Corpse Bride was so good.

The Christmas gift sounds... weird.

And you have got to go over to
and look at a couple of the icons - 11 & 12 from memory - but You'll know which ones as soon as you see them!

Oooh! Thanks for the re-direct -- both now safely transferred to my icon folder!

The Corpse Bride really is worth seeing, I would agree with your daughter and her friends. The puppets are amazing.
