Dear LJ

Why did you put 'View all userpics' on my Info-page? Is it so everyone can check whether I've credited correctly? They already could before, you know. But must you ruin the effect of my default in this way?

it seems like a bit of my privacy being nibbled away at. I don't want everyone to see how boring my icons are...

Well, exactly! That's what I feel, too. I've nowhere near reached my definitive collection yet, and am always changing my icons around. The only ones that are exempt are my default (the TARDIS) and my oldest (the Hand of Spike) -- these are the only ones that I am truly happy with, and fiercely protective of. I don't know if anyone of the old LJ-crew would even think to do such a thing, but what if people just come in and gank what they like, without asking\telling me and\or the maker first?

Yeah. :( A lot of mine are my own little (pathetic) efforts and I don't want them nicked by thickies. Or clever people either, come to think of it! ;)

Oh I don't know -- I've got some of yours on rotation, and I like them! Esp. the Captain Jack Harkness, Action Man-one.

I wish I had the first clue about iconmaking. I've got the GIMP, but unfortunately it does not come with an iconmaking tutorial, and nor does MS Paint, which is the only other graphics programme I have.

Aw fanks! :D I'd forgotten that one, it is quite amusing isn't it? I've no idea how to do the clever stuff though.
