GIP, and gratitude galore!

I've always been impressed with bogwitch's icons in the BtVS/AtS fandom. They have a power and directness that never fails to bowl me over, and her use of colour is unsurpassed. It therefore gives me immense pleasure and pride to present these two she made me at my request, despite her own misgivings:

Thank you, bogwitch. They're fantastic...just what I wanted!

And since I'm on a roll here, let me just express one other thing I'm thankful for through participating in this meme:

"If there is someone on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not without the internet), then post this same sentence in your journal."

I can't begin to describe how the Internet has changed my life, and how much joy it's brought me over the years through the friendships that have developed online, some of which have spilled over into real life, but all of which have certainly enriched my experience of life on this planet. I thrive on these friendships, and cherish them as much as I do my RL equivalents. As far as I'm concerned, there's no significant difference between the two - which reminds me, N.'s never called me back as she said she would. Oh well -- her loss.

Finally, how apt:
