freakspawn's already got her ticket, and she booked it later than I did!

And suddenly I'm afraid that cometh the hour, it'll be her and bogwitch and _mysteria_ being let through those Hyde Park gates, while I'll be left behind all alone on the pavement...:(

drop them an email, I am sure it's just that they send batches of them out and yours is in a different batch! They were mailed from Birmingham you see!

A careful read of my confirmation e-mail says "Customers in other countries: by Overseas Mail - For international orders only - Your tickets will be delivered to your billing address and delivered no later than 48 hours before before the event in a plain unmarked envelope."

Hmm. Still gonna drop 'em an e-mail.

Seriously? That makes no sense that for Overseas buyers they get delivered later!

You're telling me! I'm definitely going to get in touch. I want that ticket, dammit!

I have mine. It came by a very secure courier who wanted ID and everything. Very awkward.

I think you should chase them up.

I think I'd better!

BTW, have you given any thought as to what you wanna do: do you wanna come into London same as you always do, by car, or do you wanna come spend the night with us in the King's Cross Travelodge (4-bed room will set us back £66 for the night)?

Which night is that?

Getting into London isn't a problem, getting out is somewhat more problematic, but I think doable, though I don't much like the Tube at night.

Which night is that?

After the gig (I think). I know it won't finish that late, but still...

I just need to think about what I'll do the night before, though. I don't suppose I could come and kip on your couch, could I? ;-)

Yeah, I have a (battered) sofa bed.

This is if you can stand my really horrible half falling apart bathroom, of course.

What? It's still in that state? I think a letter to DYI SOS might be in order...

But I think I would like to meet up with you on Saturday and avail myself of your hospitality if that's alright.

No problem. And I shall have in on the hotel too. Now I have the breathing mask thing, my problem shouldn't be a problem. I hope.

Yes, the bathroom is still in that state. I'm not spending a penny on it until ownership of the flat is sorted and that was delayed by 1. Me not being able to sell it, and 2. My unemployment.

Great! Fantastic! Thank you!

And I shall have in on the hotel too.

More wonderful still. I doubt we'll get much sleep though, what with all the post-gig squee...
May. 30th, 2006 10:23 pm (UTC)
There is that.

Rightyho :D

I've booked the hotel, it says 3 adults max when you book via the website, but when we stayed there was a double bed, the sofa and the pull out under the sofa, definately room for 4 people.

We did the same at Collectormania, and no worries at all :D Just have to bring a sleeping bag :D
