So...I wonder whether The Doctor will be taken slightly aback at the fact that she looks exactly like someone he's already been accused of killing...


Having got that out of the way, I next want to offer my congratulations to two people on my flist, to wit viciouswishes whimsicalnotion and diachrony, whose birthday coincides with the US's Independence Day, which I believe gives cause for celebration to more people on my flist...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the first two, and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY to everyone else.

Finally, I'll be missing tonight's semi-final between Germany and Italy because of a dinner date I can't/won't get out of -- but I'll be rooting for Germany all the way. I never thought I would ever say this, but these last few weeks, I've actually enjoyed watching Germany's progress through the group stage and the knock-outs...
