That's better

Last night, I tested as a daisy. Now I've gone back and tweaked it, and:

What Flower
Are You?

"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets in the way of what other people think. You are proud of yourself and your accomplishments and you enjoy letting people know that."

Hmmm. If you say so. Still, I like cannas. They remind me of childhood vacations in Spain.

I tested as a violet. I didn't like the test though because most of my answers weren't listed.

It's just a bit of fun. And at least, being classed as a violet, I bet you got a pretty picture!

True to both, it is just a bit of fun and the flower pic was pretty. I just wonder what I would have been if my answers had been there.

How are the kitties, and the kitties' mom, doing?

Leila's still behaving a bit oddly -- she's not catatonic like before, and not avoiding the other cats, but she does spend all day and all night under the dining room table, and seems afraid of traversing the room. I just let her be. Clio is right as rain (she's such an effortless kitty I wonder why she always comes to mind last) and Manasse has stopped peeing blood every 2 minutes, so I guess the meds and the diet has done its work...

Of course, none of the diet foods I got from the vet met with my cats' demands. I've been feeding them on cow's heart for the last few days, but obviously I can't keep doing that for very much longer; they may be carnivores but I'm sure they'll need more than just muscle meat to stay healthy. Unfortunately, the vet's gone off on holiday this week, so I can't get any more of that diet food they won't touch, or any advice. Do you have any ideas?

I don't know if you've seen in the news where we've been having problems with pet food being contaminated with something and making cats, and I think some dogs, sick. My older cat was having a problem with peeing blood. It was apparently isolated to "wet" food so we eliminated that from her diet and have been feeding her dry kitten food (she needs the smaller pieces in the kitten food) and it seems to have worked. I don't know if that will help you any at all.

Well, it might...I'll ask the vet when she's back. She's vetoed all store-bought food, but maybe she just meant the 'wet' stuff, and won't mind the kibble which my lot like better, anyway.

I like Cannas, too. We had them in Texas, and they always seemed very vibrant.

They're lovely flowers.
