That's all I need. My telly's gone on the blink; right in the middle of Houses Under The Hammer, too. No House, M.D. for me tonight. But that's alright, as long as I make sure there's a new one in place before Grey's Anatomy on Monday.

Though the CRT going on it can be described as something of a nuisance, it's helped me make up my mind about New York. I can't buy a new telly and go to New York; but I will contribute to the service by asking my correspondent to do the reading on my behalf.

Well, that's a little blessing in disguise. *hugs* This means you no longer have to agonise over whether you can afford to put yourself through this thing that is going to be difficult and very painful. Writing your reading is going to be difficult enough. *hugs*

I've been looking through my pitifully small collection of poetry (I tend to read novels for enjoyment more than poems), and I think I may have found one or two that'll inspire me. Now I need to find a few equally inspiring Bible verses -- and check they're the same in a Proddie version....and then just hope that my pen will fly over the paper and I can have a rough draught ready by next week.

And after having spoken to Pée's father, I wasn't that keen on going anymore. They never even approached her family...and I know they have their address as I gave it to them earlier when they asked where they could send their condolences.

That sounds like a good compromise. *hugs*
