Pictures of domestic bliss

They don't often enjoy a snooze in each other's company like this. Most of the time, they're too busy vying for a place in my lap.

Precious snoozy kittehs! I'd want to curl up between them and snooze all day!

So would I, but I'm afraid that if I tried they'd be very displeased, and would silently accuse me of hogging the duvet. ;-)

If your white cat rolls over any more in the bottom picture they're going to fall right off your bed. Are they indoor cats or do they go outside too?

Actually, he did roll off, not long after I took the picture. The other two were so annoyed at his antics that they sought out a new place to doze, each in another room.

They're indoor cats. We live in a flat two floors up, with no direct access to the outside except for a balcony (which they are only allowed out on when the weather is sufficinetly warm and sunny...so they missed out on their annual treat this summer).

I like the camouflage. Neatly done. Until the falling off the bed gave him away.

How are Ollie and Bunny doing? Have they been allowed out yet?

fine thanks! yes they are free to go out from the time someone gets up until about 8pm .. and then we lock them in because of foxes mainly! They don't seem mightily bothered with explored the front/road side of the house though - which is good - happy to play in the gardens at the back.

Smart kitties!

Of my three, only Clio's ever been out. She fell from the balcony when she was just a wee little thing; I think she was only about 5 months old at the time, and hadn't been with me for very long. She went missing for 5 days, then one night as I came home, there she was, sitting on the front lawn demanding to be let in, and not a scratch on her.

She's been under house arrest ever since.

In my experience, cats are crafty buggers. They often look most ready for their closeup when you haven't a camera to hand.

*nods knowingly* Yep, they are!
