Weighty matters

Ten minutes ago, I was elated: by finally deigning to use one of those infernal treadmills at my physiotherapist's, and noticing that it displayed weight, heart rate and time in flickering red LEDs, I found out I currently weigh in at 75 kg exactly. 75 kilos*! That means that over the summer, I've lost 15!

That was before I logged on to the web and calculated that my BMI is 26, which means that I'm still overweight. Apparently, there's another 15 to come off before I reach the ideal weight for my height. :(

* 75 kg= 165.3466966387 lb; 15 kg = 33.0693393277 lb

Build the occasional treat into your menu

as long as it's once in a while it will do no harm and you can always step up th exercise a bit to compensate now your ankle is better ( which. by the way, is also great news)

It is, isn't it? At least, I thought so too, until Rutger put a dampener on it by explaining to me this afternoon that although it's much improved by the surgery and his and my good work, I shouldn't think of it as good as new. It's a severely damaged joint and will need much care and attention (i.e. exercise) from now until forever, really...well, you'll know all about that.
