The most wonderful time of the year

You Are Christmas

More than most people, you are able to find magic in life's small moments.
Traditions mean a lot to you, and you tend to be quite nostalgic.
You are a giving, kind person who really understands the true meaning of holidays.
You inspire others to be as altruistic and caring as you are.

What makes you celebrate: Tradition and a generous spirit

At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The storyteller. You like to recount memories with everyone.

On a holiday, you're the one most likely to: Give a gift to everyone you know

Hmmm...I don't know about the inspiring 'others to be altruistic and caring'-bit...I'm not even sure that I'm all that altruistic and caring myself! But I'm pleased that I came up as Christmas -- it is my favourite holiday, even though I don't celebrate it as much as I used to. No point really, when you're on your own, or share your flat with three cats who firmly believe in killing anything that's green quite dead.

Which leads me to my annual question of "Who would like to receive a Christmas card from me, and do I have your address?" If you're sure I don't, or unsure whether I do, please just e-mail me the necessary details, and I'll add your name to the list.

I think being Christmas must be rather nice.

I tried and this is me -

You Are Thanksgiving

You are a bit of a homebody who enjoys being in the company of people you love.
It doesn't take a lot to make you happy. You're enjoying life as it is.
You have many blessings in your life, and you are grateful for each one.
You believe that life is about what you *do* have. You feel like you have enough of the good stuff.

What makes you celebrate: Family, friends, and the changing of the seasons.

At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The host of the party

On a holiday, you're the one most likely to: Spend so much energy preparing that it's a full time job

Pity I'm something we don't celebrate....

ETA - I'm pretty sure we have each others addresses already!

I am 'thanksgiving' too
I blatantly copied the blogthing from you,SORRY :) Thanksgiving ,it's no holiday in Switzerland, but since I am so closely friends with many Americans who live here, I do celebrate it ( minus the church stuff) ,well one could say you could thank you friends and family during the year for being there for you,but sadly friends and family are often taken for granted,so why not have this one special day a year:)
