Missed it

For the second time this month, the bus I travelled in, homeward bound this time, had a collision. Again, no one was hurt, but the delay meant I missed Obama being sworn in as the new president of the US. How lame is it going to be later, when people ask "where were you when America inaugurated their first black president?", that my answer is going to be "stuck in traffic"?

I think I was in Sainsburys. I have no idea what time it was, so I can't say what I was doing.

Well, at least if you were in Sainsburys at the time, you were more productive than I, shoring up the economy (that is, if you purchased anything).

Had it been up to me, I would have done the same. A ringside view of the proceedings without freezing my ass off as I hear so many people have in Washington today ;-).

I was stuck at the doctor's office, that's got to be lamer? more lame?

Yup, you've definitely got me beat at lameness!

I was tucked up in bed asleep. Perhaps I'll regret that later, but short of a day off today, there wasn't much choice.

I'm sure it'll get played over and over and over until we're sick of it anyway. :)
