30 Day Movie Meme: Day 20

Bit of a hairy moment when I got asked whether I could feel equally passionate about gas analysis technologies after we had discussed my background in art history and archaeology, but other than that, I don't think I did too badly in yesterday's interview. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Day 20 in the 30 Day Movie Meme has dawned, and the subject matter is: favourite kiss:

Whoever started this meme probably had some steamy, passionate screen kisses in mind, but I can't think of any. Seen one, seen them all, I guess my problem is...I did vaguely remember this one though; and I say 'vaguely' because it's been quite a number of years since I last saw this movie. Raul Julia is a political prisoner sharing his cell with William Hurt, who has been convicted of immoral behaviour (he's a homosexual) in an unnamed South American dictatorship. During their incarceration, the two men who at first don't get along, develop a close relationship; and while it is implied that they sleep together at least once, it is only when William Hurt's character gets released that we actually see them kiss.

Day 21 - Favorite romantic couple
Day 22 - Favorite final scene/line
Day 23 - Best explosion or action scene
Day 24 - Quote you use most often
Day 25 - A movie you plan on watching (old or new)
Day 26 - Freakishly weird movie ending
Day 27 - Best villain
Day 28 - Most overhyped movie
Day 29 - Movie you have watched more than ten times
Day 30 - Saddest death scene
Day 31 - Scene that made you stand up and cheer
