To look at, certainly!

I'm just sorry for all the people who are stranded at the stations, at the airports, and on the motorways -- seems the whole of Northern Europe has ground to a halt over the weekend ;-)

Hmm - it looks quite a lot like ours!

It does, doesn't it? I was just thinking the same thing!

Looks...just cold.

We've had rain with a bit of snow mixed in yesterday morning and tonight. That's cold enough.

And none of us have reached the first day of winter yet. Brrrr!

Looks...just cold

Luckily, there's been little or no wind these past few days, so even if the temperatures have dropped to well below zero, it doesn't feel that cold, really.

Though having tried for over two hours to get to the office this morning on public transport, and failing (our busses & trams aren't geared towards dealing with 8 inches of snow, it would seem), I must admit I'm thoroughly chilled at the moment - and not in a nice way ;-)

Is that normal for NE?

Not really...though this is the second year in a row that we've had snow in December, the coastal regions (where I live) are generally just grey, cold and miserable. Most of the snow fell on Friday (6 inches in as many hours), and amazingly, it's still here, with more falling intermittently.

So pretty! Looks like my city. :)

Isn't it funny how all that cold white stuff makes everything look better?

Very! Guess it must look very similar round your way, too.
