29 Day Meme: Day 17 - Your highs and lows of this past year

I don't think it will come as a surprise to anyone when I state that finding myself suddenly unemployed has led me to the single most lowest point in the past year. Had I been able to find work again fairly soon after, it might not have been so bad; but it took me 9 months to find another job, and the longer time went on, the deeper I sank into depression and despair. Then, there was this long, cold winter and the heating broke, which didn't help matters, either.

My high must have been when I was offered two jobs in the same day; and I can only hope I made the right choice in choosing the one that is least secure. I should get a sense of this on March 8th, when I've arranged to come in for a day prior to my official starting date, to familiarise myself with my new surroundings, my new colleagues, and my new responsibilities in service channel management.

Day 18 - Your beliefs
Day 19 - Disrespecting your parents
Day 20 - How important you think education is
Day 21 - One of your favorite shows
Day 22 - How have you changed in the past 2 years?
Day 23 - Give pictures of 5 guys who are famous and who you find attractive.
Day 24 - Your favorite movie and what it’s about
Day 25 - Someone who fascinates you and why
Day 26 - What kind of person attracts you?
Day 27 - A problem that you have had
Day 28 - Something that you miss
Day 29 - Goals for the next 30 days

The sun is shining, and I would like to go out and make the most of it, but I have a job to do at home: they're coming to install the new central heating system tomorrow, and I'm going to have to clean all the visible pipes that run along the ceiling of the kitchen of all the accumulated dust and dirt of the last decade since I last paid attention to them. I was mortified when Willem came by to check what needed to be done and found that even though I had cleaned everything at eye level, I'd forgotten to cast a critical eye higher up.
