Isn't she?

Those are amazing shoes. Cute cat too, but that goes without saying.

When Leila wandered into the frame, I just had to take that picture. Then I had to rescue the shoes from getting too vigorous a chin-rub ;-)

I'm not a shoe person, but I do like those. I'd wear 'em with a 1930s-ish dress, I think.

Definitely a cat person, which you well know! ::smooches the shoe-curious kitteh::

I agree, these would definitely suit the more tailored look of 30s\40s-inspired skirts and jackets. Perhaps when I go for my next interview, I can dress to impress that way?

I envy you be being able to wear high heels. A very smart-looking pair of shoes. When I first saw the photo with your cat, I thought, "What a charming salesperson....errr....saleskitty!

Just my strange sense of humor :-)

Leila's curiosity knows no bounds; she's always the first to investigate the shopping I bring home. When she posed with the shoes, I just had to take her picture!

I do walk very well in heels -- or at least I've been told so often enough, even by people in the medical profession who would try and persuade me not to wear them too often ;-)

The secret is in how you place your weight. Mum began our training early, always telling my sister and me to stand up straight and walk in proper 'lady-like' fashion, and got me my first pair of learner heels when I was 13: the heels were made of rubber. If I didn't mind how I was going, I'd fall over.

That must have been so hard, on both of you! Now she can settle in and you can relax.

I feel your pain - it took me weeks to clean Frank's room.

It must be a relief to have seen her sitting and chatting.

I wish you well with the house clearing. I'm not sure if this is helpful - but it took my sister and I at least one full day a week for a…

Oh my goodness! I can just feel that horrible sinking in the pit of the stomach when you realised and there was nothing you could do about it.

I'm glad the move went so well. It sounds like it might be a great place for her.

I'm glad things turned out okay! (Other than the rhubarb.)
