You'll never guess...

...but I've got a job. The job I interviewed for some weeks back, with the company that frustratingly wouldn't let me know what was happening (turns out the HR-manager dealing with the vacancy had gone on holiday). My new manager sent me a text this evening (only it must have been mid-morning where she was), saying - well, this is what she said:

"Hello Hedwig,

I wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that we are preparing to make an offer to you for the Services Support Admin position. Currently I am working on the details of the start date and training schedule. As I mentioned in the interview there is a high probability that the training will take place in our Santa Barbara, CA headquarters. Are you still able to travel?

If so, you may need to work out of our office here for 2-3 weeks. Please let me know if this is still an option for you.

Kind regards,
Debbie"

So - California, here I come!
