Nagging JM

I had the strangest dream last night. I dreamt I was JM's personal assistant, and apparently my job consisted of me advising him what to wear. We had the following altercation:

GAMIILA: "What you're going to wear? You woke me up to ask me that? Wear what you bloody well please!"

(JM mutters something unintelligible, goes away and comes back a minute later in his ubiquitous T-shirt, jeans and trainers)

GAMIILA: "That's what you've chosen to wear? Please tell me you brought the kilt! And wear some Docs with it this time!"

(JM changes into the kilt, and promptly falls down the stairs).

i'm still secretly tempted to get a fandom wide campaign going to send the queer eye kids to santa monica. good god, that would be ugly.

all in all the jeans & tee-shirst aren't that bad. i just wish he'd be more selective. trainers must go. i'm all about "big boy shoes." kilt, i couldn't care less about. & i'm not much on tight jeans, & trust me, his aren't that big. (i know big jeans.) 42 may equal the meaning of life, but it doesn't mean he's got to dress like someone's dad either (even though he is someone's dad).

i just want to dress him & make him pretty. hello jil sander, hello helmut lang. hell, kenneth cole for crying out loud. he can keep the diesel jeans--just dark denim, please, for the love of god. flat front slim cut trousers, basic shirts. i don't even care if he tucks them in. i'm not partial to belts. ties aren't necessary. a basic 5 button blazer. he could wear 3-eye gibsons or gripfast boots all the time & i wouldn't care...just no trainers. gah. (my eyes!)

JM scrubs up really well when he deigns to wear grownup clothes.

To be perfectly honest, I have no real problem with the jeans&tee he usually sports, but it's the white trainers I can't abide. In anyone. I've refused to go out with men because they wore trainers, believing their choice of footwear to be deeply revealing of the man inside...
