After all the careful planning and colour-coordinating that went into the preparation, in our picture with JM it clearly shows that my trousers are too f*cking big for me!

I just can't stop laughing...I would show you but I can't, not yet. No, really...

Did he kiss any of you?

No, he didn't. He did hug whoever asked, but calove (the woman in the cream top) and I are too repressed to ever ask for hugs, and julchek (the woman standing next to me) decided to ask for hers later, at the autograph session. She got it, too!

That night, James kissed a woman in the audience at the last GotR-gig, but that was the only time I ever saw him dole out kisses. He was quite embarrassed about it the next day; then cheerfully went on to suck the lollypop of every girl that asked for one (well, asked...they reminded me of dogs begging for a treat, sitting up and wagging their tails). He's such a tart!

How did he smell?

Very neutral -- but then, I never got more up close and personal than in this picture! I can tell you what another guest smelled like, though...;-)

Is he as nice as everyone says he is?

I don't know. Let's not forget, he is an actor, and one who knows his trade. But first impressions: yes, he's a nice guy, if a bit geeky. He has this habit of looking you in the eye when he's shaking your hand, and holding it for longer than necessary.

What shoes were you wearing?

In the photoshoot? High-heeled cream suede boots, and a matching creme suede shoulderbag that I had to give to an assistant before taking up my place next to James.

I remember db2305 commented on this too, thinking it might be an American/European clash thing. Or is it just James being James?

It could just be a James-thing, I'm not sure -I don't think I shook enough American hands to know the difference!-, but the only real culture shock I put any of them through was in the hugging ritual, (which we've already touched upon). Luckily, neither of the two US citizens I subjected to my version of it, complained about it afterwards (although that could have been because they were too dazed).

I've never said how much I admire that icon of yours, have I?

That would call for a survey. ;-)

bogwitch made it for me, as a surprise some time ago. Also as an apology of sorts because she still hasn't finished that Naked! Spike-calendar she promised me...(are you reading this, bogwitch?)

It's quite something, isn't it (the Spike-image of course, comes from 'Gone')?
