When I asked Eric whether there was any chance of him/them coming over to Europe anytime soon, and he said "October", never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that the venue would be the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre -- I don't know anyone in or around that area, I don't know my way around it, and I don't know if I want to be travelling all that way...but I do know that I do not want to go to another convention.

Don't get me wrong: I had a lovely time at MR the month before last, due to the presence of my friends, the miniature golf course, and CoRo; but I really can't be going through three days of BtVS-themed mayhem again. No way!

Damn! That website doesn't even say if it's possible to just see CoRo and nothing else...maybe it will nearer the time...

Details are scanty, to say the least. All that is clear at this stage is that the Trio are set to appear at the Hush Convention held in Aberdeen the weekend of Oct 8-10, and that Also appearing will be Eric Kuf's for an acoustic set by Common Rotation (</a>that website</a> is appalling; they can't even spell his name correctly, and how difficult is that?)

Is the con expensive? Hm....I probably won't be able to afford to go *sob*

Is it expensive? Does a bear shit in the woods?

Depending on your choice of ticket, you can either pay £500 (Gold), £200 (Silver), or £125 (Bronze) -- which I think is a bit steep if all I'm interested in is seeing CoRo on stage again. Not that I begrudge the boys a penny, but still...

Now, if I hear that one can just come to the gig (as was possible at MR04), I may reconsider; but otherwise, I'm going to have to regretfully give it a miss.

hils! hils!

Things may be looking up! I've just heard on the grapevine that there may be other dates as well!

OOH! YAY! I've been hoping to see them play for ages. I've heard they're really good

Oh oh...Looks like we're going to have to curb our enthusiasm for a while longer...although it appears Adam has been hinting at a European minitour in recent weeks, the band is still working on other things as well; and a French fan has just informed me that the Aberdeen con has been moved back to May next year. I should know more by the end of this month: thefangirl has offered to ask them about their plans when she sees them at Oakland.

I've been hoping to see them play for ages. I've heard they're really good

That's an understatement: they're really, really good. Even if the genre isn't really your thing, they're such consummate musicians you can't help but stay and listen spell-bound. Take it from me, a CoRo-show is an experience not to be missed!
